Managing Verse Settings & Permissions

Verses are highly customizable spaces where users can interact, create, and explore.

This guide covers how to manage Verse settings, control permissions, moderate experiences, and enable advanced features.

Name & Descriptionโ€‹

To change the name or edit the description of a Verse:

  1. Click on the three-dot menu.
  2. Select Settings > Verse Tab.
  3. Update the Verse name and description.

๐Ÿ”น Verse descriptions (max 1,000 characters) appear in the info panel and help users understand the purpose of the space.

Managing Member Limitsโ€‹

Verse Access & Privacyโ€‹

By default, Verses are set to Shared Link mode, but you can restrict access using Trustworthy mode.

Managing User Permissionsโ€‹

Moderators can adjust participant capabilities via Settings > Verse Permissions.

Advanced Settingsโ€‹

Redirect Users to Another Verseโ€‹

Automatically redirect users to a different Verse upon entry.

  1. Go to Settings > Redirect URL.
  2. Paste the destination Verse link.
  3. Click Save.

Custom Camera Field of View (FOV)โ€‹

Modify how users view the Verse by adjusting the Field of View (FOV).

  1. Open Settings > Advanced Settings.
  2. Adjust the FOV degree.
  3. Save changes.

Enabling Tour Portalsโ€‹

Tour Portals allow seamless movement between connected Verses.

  1. Open Settings > Advanced Settings.
  2. Enable Tour Portals.
  3. Add a portal link to another Verse.
  4. Ensure the destination Verse has Tour Portals enabled.

Adding a Portalโ€‹

  1. Open Settings > Add Portal.
  2. Paste the Verse URL.
  3. A 2D sidebar will display interactive portals.

Streamer Modeโ€‹

What is Streamer Mode?โ€‹

This broadcast feature allows moderators to stream their perspective to users in the lobby.

How to Enable Streamer Mode:

  1. Open Tools > Streamer Mode.
  2. Select Lobby Cast to begin streaming.
